Labour Day long weekend: the Gospel Rider's campout at Alice Lake, just outside of Squamish, British Columbia. What or who are the Gospel Riders? Christian bikers, that's who; mostly recovered addicts and/or alcoholics. Despite all that, they still all enjoy a good ole party. Why not? They happen to treat newly recovering addicts really well. And so, the entire house got invited for the weekend to the campout. Live music. Camp fires to the wee hours of the morning. Good food. All in the middle of the gorgeous rain forest. Yes, I can have fun while staying clean ~ I certainly don't need pot or crack or several glasses of wine to enjoy my socks off!
